A forum for regional cutting-edge products
“à la région” is the result of an endeavor of the agronomy, the viniculture, the gastronomy and the tourism of the region, to provide an appropriate forum to present itself. The chef’s cap - a symbol of the refined agro-products of the region, in the local gastronomy and the glass of wine - a symbol of the leading-edge products of the vine-growers, express the initiative and its intention through the logo. The marketing of the regional culinary assets not only within but also outside the region are to be strengthened by means of “à la région". The highlights of the joint effort are the festivals which take place every two years. For the next such festival the “à la région” invites you on 17th June 2011 at the castle in Kastellaun.
